"120 users are currently online" - Spam bots or real users?

Just randomly saw this and was wondering whether Gotwoot is still visited by that many people or if it's just spam bots.

If Gotwoot is still that popular, can't an admin at least send an email to all registered users to remind them that we're alive, waiting for anime discussion?
