    Manga: Beelzebub

    Started reading this manga the other day, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's quite funny, and other than the great comedy and the supernatural demonic powers, it kinda reminds me of History's Strongest Disciple Kinichi... I guess you can say that this manga is Aishiteruze Baby meets Kenichi in some fashion.

    So I think you guys should give it a try.

    The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent" as he watches over the devil king's son (and future devil king) with the destruction of the world hanging in the balance.

    Is there romance in this? Even just a hint? I always like my shounen with some form of romance.

    sort of ehh feeling for most of the story. didn't relate to it much.

    at least chapter 12 shows some signs of human interaction between characters.

    Not at the moment, maybe in the future?

    And I agree DBZ, I'm mainly in it for the comedy at the moment... though there seems to be a bit of plot progression as of late.

    so, this is the new female lead? I prefer her, since the angel lady was pretty dull.

    obviously she's gonna get mad at him not recognizing her, try to beat him around a bit, realize he's been taking all her hits to protect the baby, and then drop the fight, just in time to be mad at him again for confusing her with some other girl.

    I just read up to the latest chapter, and I have to say I'm glad they introduced some form of romance in this manga. I've always been partial to shounen with a bit of romance, so the latest chapters are great. Having a consistently bad ass main character is a great plus as well.

    I love the strange gag humor used in the manga, like the panels with the unrelated pedobear, and the (lol) text in the instruction manual for the glass cage.

    The mother invitation caught me off guard as well. I hope we get to see more of her in the succeeding chapters.

    It's a direct continuation from the previous chapters, in fact the first half of it is the same as chapter 15 but from a different point of view. I really liked this chapter, especially how it's setting up the next one.

    And yeah, I wonder how "real" this fight will get. I don't think Oga put those two in the hospital... something else surely happened and this is all a misunderstanding.
