The best part of the episode was right at the beginning. Hejinmal using his scales as pockets as well as his quick Dogeza. The rest of the episode was standard Overlord power-pimping. I wonder how Ainz will redeploy all the new species. The Dwarfs don't really matter anymore since he's taken the runesmiths but Ainz will trade with them anyway. He's promised to give them their capital city back, which leaves the Dragons and Quagoa.

The Dragons seem to be symbolic enough in this universe, and seem to be easily exploitable (love treasure, timid enough), but the Quagoa don't seem to be very valuable at all.

It's been a while since Season 1, but I think Grasp Heart is a Level 9 spell or something? I think that means it'd work on nearly everything - certainly nearly every NPC without World Items I expect. Nice to bring out once in a while, but otherwise it'd make for some really quick fights.

Probably not. At the very least I wouldn't expect it to instantly kill them. I don't know if that spell has any non-lethal effects.

Floor Guardians seem like pretty high level bosses so I don't expect instant kill spells to work on them. SeemS like the spell should work on Elite enemies and below.

This anime is atm feels like watching Putin isekai. Just some murderous asshole using violence to get what he wants.

Sorry, but my old complaint remains. The superiority of Ains is so gigantic that it's simply not fun to watch. Grasp of heart was especially jarring.

My biggest hope is that something causes Demiurge to rebel against Ains, maybe by discovering that Ains isnt as smart actually. Probably won't happen though.

The transition was weird, as if we missed an entire episode. (edit: Apparently there is a translation error, and the party receiving food aid is the Holy Kingdom, not the Slane Theocracy. That does make more sense)

I didn't realise a few dragons made up a kingdom, or that the dwarves formed a military alliance with the Sorcery Kingdom.

I found the praise that Ains is capable of understanding stupidity hilarious. Shalteer is the only one who actually thinks along the same wavelength as him.

As for Hilma.. her henchmen just assumed that she was going to be submitted to a blowjob?
edit2: nvm, I forgot she was the head of Eight Fingers and was made to swallow bugs as torture or something. That's why they're cleaning her mouth..

What an honorable king. I hope he doesn't die. It would take true evil to kill someone like that, and that is something Ainz has been skirting around still.

I kind of want some sort of illusion spell to be cast on the idiot noble to expose his actions to the rest of the world before he is brutally tortured and slain (or forever kept captive and brutalized). Something like he finally gets a chance to sleep with Albedo, only for it to be ripped away from him, thrusting him into the deepest despair.

The rest of the episode ... ugh. As always, I'm still waiting for a foe of equal power to appear. If the opening is anything to go by, it mighth happen soon.

If I were one of the kingdoms' leaders, I'd ask Ains straight forward "Ains-sama, is there even a way to defeat you or are you invincible?" I'd just like to know what it'd take to kill Ains.

Do you have 0 thinking skills? In any other situation, I wouldn't do it. In this case, however, where Ains is absolutely overwhelmingly powerful? Yes, I would ask him, in desperate hope that in his hubris, he might actually give away a weakness, be it however subtle. My own life is worthless at that point anyway.

As for "why would he answer", it'd be to confirm his prowess. Either he'd say "no, there is not" to shatter everyone's hopes. Or he'd say "there is", confirming his confidence. Plus, I don't think he'd answer it with serious intent, rather, he's accidentially answer it, reminiscing his old friends who would possess power similar to him and thus being the only ones that could threaten him. Like: "Ah, shoot, I shouldn't have said that aloud!!", like he often does.

Except nobody knows he does that. We only know he does that because we have an audience-view of his thoughts. If you were one of the kingdoms' leaders, you wouldn't know he does that.

The king made a good move right there. Even though for him I'm sure he actually wants this to happen so he doesn't have to deal with it anymore.
He didn't strike me as a strong king, in fact he had breakdowns and all kinds of shit happening to him and I'm still surprised he is in power and reasonable.

Thanks for pointing out the translation error btw, this whole episode woul have had to skip several arcs for it to make sense otherwise.
It sounded like the Theocracy had already fallen.
