    Mix: Meisei Story

26 years after Meisei High conquered the Kōshien, a promising pitcher-catcher battery was formed in its middle school by the Tachibana step-brothers, Touma and Souichirou.

Well, here we have a new Adachi series adaptation Mix: Meisei Story. A sequel to his 80s series Touch, which was my first experience with Adachi.

Two episodes are out so far.

    Anyone watching this?

I saw S2 came out, so I tried part of S1E1 but stopped because it was so slow. I liked Cross Game, but I'm not sure that this being the same sport/character design is a pro or a con.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

Being an Adachi sports anime, I'm expecting fleshed out relationships and a largely grounded story/sporting scenarios.

This is super slow even by Adachi standards. Maybe the second season picks up, but even I, a huge Adachi fan, dropped the manga.

Slow does not convey the right idea about that show pace and the boredom it induces in the audience.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
