    Upcoming Anime Season: Spring 2020

    Link.

Lots of long awaited sequels to popular series. I'm personally looking forward to the following shows:

    Re:Zero 2nd Season
    Hachiman Final Season
    Kaguya 2nd Season
Kami no Tou - Webcomic I was reading many years ago but stopped at some point. Has great potential.
Yesterday wo Utatte - A nice little seinen romance story set in college that I never read the ending to.
    Tsugu Tsugumomo - For fanservice.
    Jashin-chan 2nd Season
Shin Sakura Taisen - Because I was a huge fan of the original.
Kakushigoto - Seems like a nice heartwarming story.

    Maybe:
Shironeko Project - Can be good, can be a trainwreck based on the description.
SAO - just skipping the episodes to see how it all ends.
Souma - just skipping the episodes to see how it all ends.

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta aka "Bakarina" - The first of the "villainess isekais" to finally get an anime. Bakarina is a really funny series, looking forward to the anime adaptation and the cast looks very solid. If this does well, maybe we'll get Common Sense of a Duke's Daughter (a more serious and economic/political focused one) soon after! I'd equate this to Konosuba.

Gleipnir - A often baffling manga to read due to the monthly schedule and convoluted plot that's graced with quite a bit of unreliable narrators and outright liars among the cast, but definitely on my radar. It's got gore, ecchi, depression, slips of sanity, psychopathy (not really yandere though...), and freckles.

No Guns Life 2nd Season - Last season was a strong start for a cyberpunk series. Not sure it will hold out, but it was ultimately one of my favorites the previous season.

Tamayomi - Could be awful, could be good. All depends on if it has an actual sports story, characters with remotely any depth at all (not looking for much, but some) and maintaining animation quality, which crisp and detailed it ain't-so it isn't a high bar. If it is just "cute thickish girls playing baseball/softball" for fanservice I'm out.

Nami yo Kiite Kure - Sunrise. Blade of the Immortal author. Worth a try at the least.

It's hilarious how none of what we plan to watch overlap.

    WTF.

We are very thankful to be honored with your usual massive support for Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu.
Regarding the second season of Re:Zero that was planned to broadcast in April 2020, the Coronavirus disease that has become a worldwide problem has greatly influenced our production schedule, so it has inevitably been decided that we must postpone the broadcast date.
Currently we are planning to broadcast in July, but once details regarding the broadcast’s date and time have been decided, we will provide another notice by way of the official website and Twitter account.
To all the fans who were looking forward to the production, we are sorry for the trouble and concerns and sincerely apologize.
We thank you for your understanding.

Agreed. I almost edited my post to say that when I noticed.

Regarding Re:zero, which seems insanely bizarre...White Fox is located in Suginami of Tokyo. But now I guess we know now what provinces or cities their outsourced in-betweens are completed in whether it is China or Korea!

Whatever it is, it's CGI. And while not the most terrible out there, I'm already scrunching my nose at it.

    Definite:
    No Guns No Life 2
    Re: Zero whenever that happens.
Shokugeki no Soma for completeness's sake unless it's a complete turn-off.

    Maybe:
    Gleipnir
    Otome Game
    Yesterday wo Utatte
    Kakushigoto
Nami yo Kiitekure sounds kinda strange and funny.

Appare Ranman (only because it's PA Works)

Sakura Taisen's a maybe, I'll have to watch the first one first.

I remembered fun things about Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru as a kid. Might check this out for nostalgia's sake and hope I don't get burned.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

I've managed to watch terrible little anime of late, though read manga still aplenty, but I'll try to check out:

Otome Game no Hametsu, the Bakarina story Ryll already advertised. It's quite great.
    Honzuki no Gekokujou S2.
    Hachiman.

Maybe I should try to have a look at Kakushigoto to have something I'm not familiar with.

As big an isekai fan as I am, I'm not going to watch Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou!. I read the manga, but it's honestly one of the more bland OP MC isekai you can have. It's made worse by the MC being a terrible sheep who has no ambitions or desires of his own and is only following the orders and advice by others. The other characters aren't that interesting either. It's a huge mystery why they chose to animate this and not something more decent.

Edit: Damn, I have read so much manga I don't even remember anymore what I've read. Looks like I did read the beginning of Kakushigoto but ended up dropping it.
