You may want to crop your image of Sora instead of trying to squeeze the whole thing into that itty-bitty 80pix space, it tends to distort the image.

NM he does look a little better... I would take your sharpen tool and touch up his face some though. Don't go too overboard or it'll start to look pixillated.
Also, if you're having trouble reading your text and want it to stand out some you may want to play with the outer glow function.
Or you could always stroke it with 1px.
Preferably white for what you have there.

I'm open to suggestions as for what to do with the left side of the text. I used the petals but it just looks weird.
it was lasaire but all she did was cut out a piece from a background she found online, change it colors and put an orochimaru pic in it. a50's style is a bit more complicated from what i understand from the explanation.Originally posted by: AssertnFailure

Well I just started really using Photoshop. And I'm addicted. This is my first sig that is actually decent.
and I think I just did different clouds on the blue one to make this, i really dont remember.
Well I need suggestions on what to do on the left side. It looks too empty. Also, for all you SEED Destiny people, you know Athrun's hair is supposed to be blue, but when I did all of the effects it ended up black. I tried to just use the paint bucket but it doesnt work. So if you have an idea of how to make it blue let me know.
Edit: Which one do you think I should use?
I'm assuming you have Athrun as one layer. i suggest you select his hair and cut+paste it on a separate layer. Do the effects on the "rest of the body" layer, and after that, do separate effects for the hair layer.
And cmon guys I need suggestions for the petals part on my sig. I think it looks real awkward but can't think of any substitutes.
I like the bottom one more... it's kinda nice in how grainy and rough it is. I'd almost say leave it alone except that Asuran's hair looks odd as a solid shade of black. Maybe you should consider making a new layer with the stock image in it and play with the transparency and see if you can't bleed some of the color through. There are probably better ways to do it but I'm not feeling particularly creative at the moment.
Not bad on the whole, play with the hair some. Other'n that I wouldn't touch anything.
