    I agree; Mein looks like she's going to die (possibly at the hands of Esdese). Maybe after her death, Akame will play a more significant role in the storyline with Takumi like the relationship between Kurome and Wave. For the time being, though, I'll just enjoy Akame's role in the prequel.
