I think the fact that we all come together weekly to discuss something we all enjoy isn't pathetic at all. It's nice to vent, speculate and dissect things that mean something to you. The criticism stems from how much more you would enjoy it had it went another way. I'm sure many of us would have loved to see certain things changed for the better according to our own personal preferences. I'm feel like this story has had multiple twists and turns that have rubbed us all the wrong way, but the criticism most likely comes from wanting a better explanation to help us suspend our disbelief for the sake of enjoying the series. How many people would love to see Vegeta win more than he did or beat people in place of goku? I'm sure no one really wanted spike or vicious to die. But somethings are beyond our control because we aren't telling the story.
I think it's evident that we show up weekly to illustrate both our enjoyment and disappointment for the love of the story. Frankly, I wish the manga had a more climactic end. I also wish certain fights that were built up didn't lose as much traction as the did when they actually happened. Unfortunately that is up the the writer's ability to control pacing. Personally I believe this is done better in other series. I don't feel like I give destructive criticism to Naruto because I'm stuck reading it. It's like the having a child with potential that wants to just coast....when they could soar.

Honestly I would have done with Naruto what I did with bleach if it was that bad. And that would be to simply stop reading. I don't feel like the people in these forums are compelled to read and complain because we are stuck reading, we just expect the series to grow with its fans. Being progressive with any long running series will be hard when your demographic wanes between so many different age ranges while simultaneously attempting to gain new fan base at the original targeted age group....10-16 year old children.

Thank you for reading and the years of discussion fellas.
